NATIONAL PARK PHOTOGRAPH PAINTING GROUP - DEATH VALLEY
Join Jan Bryant at the Studios of Cocoa Beach on Monday, March 17 from 2 to 5 pm to paint from a beautiful Death Valley photo. No matter your skill level, Jan will lead the group to paint a landscape photo of Death Valley with acrylic on canvas. The photograph was taken by the accomplished photographer, Rebecca Ragain, who also exhibits at the Studios. At the conclusion of the class, each participant will receive a special photography from Rebecca.
Jan is a professional artist and instructor. With her BFA and Masters in Education and Art, she brings her 50+ years of experience to the participants in every class. She believes that "It is important to interpret art as you wish, to enjoy the art of painting, to not feel the need to copy and painter/instructor, and to feel progress, which is her passion!" She works to develop each persons' individual style and desires.
Fee for this art class is $85, or for a National Park series of 5 classes $340. Supplies are included with additional $25 material fee payable on the first day of each class. Register at the Studios website www.studioofcocoabeach.org. The classes will be held in the Studios classroom behind the gallery at 165 Minutemen Causeway in downtown Cocoa Beach.
