MARCH 2025 Studios of Cocoa Beach Presents: TRUE LOVE Oil and Acrylics by Jaymee Weinreich, Watercol

Jaymee Weinreich is a founding member of the Studios of Cocoa Beach, where she is responsible for exhibitions and onboarding of new artists. She works with various mediums and subjects. This month's exhibit features works with an aquatic theme, reflecting her love for the ocean and rivers. Raised in Cocoa Beach, she later moved to the Caribbean, where she enjoyed a view of the sea from her home for twenty-eight years. She frequently visited her family in Cocoa Beach before returning in 2014.

Jaymee holds a BFA in Fine Art from Florida International University and has embraced her life as an artist. She expresses, “I am truly happiest in my studio creating. I also love the business of art and the creations of other artists. I have never regretted my choice to pursue the life of an artist, and I intend to continue creating art for the rest of my life.”

Drew Krecicki's watercolor paintings reflect his enduring love for the beach, boats, sunlight, and sand. Each piece aims to tell a story through the relationship of light, shadow, reflection, and form. Raised in New Jersey, Drew spent his summers at the Jersey shore, where he developed a deep appreciation for the ocean, nature, and aquatic life. He earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Architecture from the University of Virginia and the University of Pennsylvania, respectively. Drew has worked in various places across the country, including Princeton, Boston, Minneapolis, and Atlanta, before settling in Winter Park, Florida, where he has lived for thirty years.

The works of both artists will be displayed from March 4 to March 30, 2025. You can meet Jaymee and Drew at the reception for their exhibition on Friday, March 7, from 6:00 to 8:30 PM at the Studios of Cocoa Beach, located at 165 Minutemen Causeway. We hope to see you there!
