Applying Gratitude in All Circumstances

Rob Buster retired from the U.S. Secret Service after serving 26 years. At that time, he was the Assistant to the Director for all Protective Operations. During his tenure with the Service, he held the position of Special Agent in Charge of the Presidential Protective Division from 2012 through 2015. Other professional experiences includes serving as a Team Leader for the Counter Assault Team of the U.S. Secret Service and serving as a Deputy Sheriff in Sarasota County Florida on their Tactical Unit as well as on their Special Weapons and Tactics Team.
His retirement coincided with his wife’s reassignment as the Special Agent in Charge of the Secret Service’s Orlando Field Office in 2018. She recently retired in December 2025.
Rob is currently enjoying retirement as a fishing guide, leader of the East Coast Christian Church’s Safety team, serving his Church’s youth, and serves wherever the Lord calls him.

This event is presented by "Lifting Up Ladies", a ministry to inspire women of all denominations, to grow in community, faith and friendship. Featured guest speakers are designed to inspire and help women grow in faith, as well as learning new skills and an opportunity for socializing. Lifting Up Ladies is an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) organization.
