Feathers, Furs and Scales Fundraiser
Join Environmental Education Awareness Research Support and Services, or EEARSS, a nonprofit started by Frank “Alligator” Robb, for Feathers, Furs and Scales, at Tango & Ties in Rockledge.
Hosted by Tails at the Barkery, this event will help raise much needed funds for EEARSS, whose mission is to educate the public on the importance of the environment, the organisms and life forms within it, while also performing and assisting in research projects that help expand that knowledge and expertise. Specific research includes alligator toxicology, endocrinology, along with the health of local ecosystems, Gopher Tortoise’s, controlled fires, viruses affecting wild alligator populations in Florida, sea turtle nesting populations, and survey data for county and federal level governments.
Enjoy an evening of open dancing, heavy hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine and other beverages. $25.00 per person/$40.00 per couple. Proceeds will be donated to EEARSS to be used specifically for research, travel, equipment and related expenses.
