Franklin’s Friends is an all volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to support Central Florida animal welfare by awarding grants to local nonprofit and government organizations that are dedicated to Shelter/Rescue, Spay/Neuter, Community Education, or Pet Retention projects. We function akin to the United Way for local animal welfare - raising money throughout the year and then granting it back to deserving local animal welfare agencies. Over the past 22 years Franklin’s Friends has raised over $3 million for local animal rescue. Our website is FranklinsFriends.info
Franklin's Friends is proud to present the twelfth annual Unleashed. Uncorked. Unframed. gala on May 10, 2025 at the Winter Park Events Center. It will be a magical evening with exemplary wines, gourmet cuisine, spectacular live and silent auctions, and a private art sale. WESH 2 News anchors Jason Guy and Michelle Imperato will return to emcee the event. We anticipate more than 250 animal lovers will don their cocktail attire and come together to support Franklin's Friends and local animal welfare.
