Orange County Mayoral Race Candidate Meet and Greet

On Saturday, July 11th, the Orange County Mayoral Candidates will come together at the Knights of Columbus Hall in East Orlando to introduce themselves to constituents and face questions from individual voters in a participant friendly environment. Admission is free and everyone is invited. The candidates will be available at separate tables to allow the public to ask questions and provide the candidates opportunities to answer one-on-one. “This is a hotly contested race” says Nanette Parratto-Wagner, one of the coordinators of the event. Orange County is facing issues such as safety of our children, growth management, how to attract new businesses that will offer good paying jobs, how to partner with surrounding counties to improve the quality of life for all of our citizens, how to protect family incomes while improving government efficiency, and how to diversify Orange County’s economy. “One of these candidates will be leading our County” Parratto-Wagner continues. “We’re paying close attention to this race and feel it’s important to provide this CANDIDATE MEET & GREET opportunity, so voters can get to know the candidates for themselves to be able to make an informed decision at the ballot box.” In a competition where fireworks abound, it is important to look beyond the accusations, allegations and mudslinging. Meeting with the candidates face to face and hearing first hand where they stand on the issues is important to voters before the cast their vote in the August 18, 2026 elections.
