Heartwood Preserve will transform Heartwood Park in west Omaha into a holiday ice-skating rink along with festive attractions as part of Winterland at Heartwood Preserve in celebration of the holidays. The ice-skating rink, which will open to the public on Friday, Nov. 29, will offer FREE 90-minute ice-skating sessions and FREE skate rental courtesy of Applied Underwriters. The skating rink will be open daily through Jan. 5.
Individuals and families can visit winterlandatheartwood.simpletix.com to view the daily ice-skating schedule and make reservations online. While reservations are recommended, a limited number of walk-up skaters also will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis during each public skating session listed online. The rink can accommodate up to 120 ice skaters per session.
The ice-skating rink, located just south of 144th and Dodge, will be beautifully decorated for the holidays to provide a fun and festive atmosphere for skaters to enjoy.
