Tastes and Treasures
“Providing Hope to All Ages” is the theme of our 14th Annual Event on Wednesday, Sept 17, The event is a dinner, entertainment and a silent auction.
Event funds support critical Salvation Army programs. Past examples include:
• Items that directly benefit clients, such as Thanksgiving turkeys for the Burrows Center food pantry; linens and cookware for residents moving into Salvation Army housing; and bus passes for clients to get to counseling appointments or jobs.
• Materials that enhance local Salvation Army programs, such as computers, musical instruments, video streaming equipment and workbooks.
• Durable equipment, including freezers, ovens, mattresses for the new Western Plains camp and more.
