Summer Saturdays at Heartwood Preserve: Encanto Outdoor Movie
While the movie starts at sunset, visitors are welcome to come early and enjoy lawn games, music and an inflatable obstacle course. Food trucks that include Bon Apa Cheese, The Big Sno and Cornhusker Beverage Bar will start at 6 p.m.
Bring a low chair or blanket to claim your spot. The restaurants at Heartwood Preserve also offer takeout to be enjoyed at the park during the film.
Heartwood Park, Omaha’s newest outdoor community gathering space within Heartwood Preserve, is the go-to destination for family and friends every weekend this summer. Through August, Summer Saturdays has a rotating schedule featuring outdoor movies, silent discos and concerts to go along with food trucks, lawn games and an inflatable obstacle course.
To make visits more enjoyable, the Heartwood Park Ambassador program offers visitors amenities to borrow on-site, including picnic blankets, board games, lawn games and sports gear for all to enjoy. Amenities will be available from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturdays.
