1515 Oklahoma Poetry House: Featuring Benjamin Payne
Payne is from Shawnee, Oklahoma, and graduated with his Bachelor of Arts in English from East Central University in May 2024. He currently teaches 9th-and 10th-grade English at Harding Charter Prep High School in Oklahoma City. He has been published in ECU's literary journal “Originals” and has been a featured reader at Kind Origins Open Mic in Ada, the Scissortail Creative Writing Festival, and the South Central Modern Language Association's annual convention in New Orleans.
