Join Newport News Historic Services for a meaningful morning of service at Historic Endview as part of Park Day and National Historic Marker Weekend! In partnership with the American Battlefield Trust and the William G. Pomeroy Foundation, this volunteer event invites the community to help preserve and beautify one of Newport News’ treasured historic sites. Event Details πŸ“… Saturday, April 25 ⏰ 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM πŸ“ Historic Endview, 362 Yorktown Road, Newport News, VA Volunteer Schedule β€’ 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM: Check-in & waiver signing β€’ 9:00 AM: Volunteers assigned to duties Volunteer Activities Include: β€’ Picking up trash throughout the site β€’ Cleaning historic markers β€’ Nature trail maintenance (leaf removal, mulch spreading, etc.) Bonus Opportunity: Volunteers are invited to enjoy a free guided tour of the historic house following their service.
