Gotham FC hosts Kansas City Current Sports Illustrated Stadium for Broadway Night
Gotham FC will face the Kansas City Current for the first time since defeating them in the NWSL Challenge Cup on Friday, August 14 at 8:00 PM.
The two teams have historically had major matchups, including the recent Challenge Cup and the 2025 NWSL Quarterfinals, both of which Gotham came out on top.
The theme of the match is Broadway Night Fireworks – a classic from 2025, where the game culminates in a post-match fireworks show on the pitch, featuring a soundtrack of fan-favorite Broadway tunes.

o Don’t miss out on hearing some of Broadway’s stars performing: National Anthem is set to be sung by Lorna Courtney, currently a cast member of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and a halftime performance by Lissa Deguzman, a former Wicked cast member who will be performing a rendition of Defying Gravity
• PREMATCH CELEBRATION:
o Come celebrate Club Captain Tierna Davidson for her nomination for the Lauren Holiday Impact Award, alongside her community partner, Girls Leadership
• NURSES NIGHT
o For Nurses Appreciation Night, nurses are offered a special $43 ticket which includes a $15 concessions credit
