Auditions for "Beetlejuice JR"

Based on Tim Burton’s classic comedy film, Beetlejuice was an audience favorite during its Broadway run and nominated for eight Tony awards, including Best Musical. Lydia Deetz is not your typical teenager. She is enchanted by all things haunted and supernatural. So when her father moves her into a brand new home, Lydia is delighted to discover her new house is haunted by a quirky couple of ghosts named the Maitlands, and one notorious demon named… Beetlejuice! Tim Burton’s masterpiece is brought “back from the dead” to hilarious results. This zany, madcap musical is “frightfully” hilarious and fun for the whole family, guaranteed to make you want to dance till “daylight come”. All youth in grades 2-12 are encouraged to audition. Required audition registration can be completed at www.OpenArtsAlliance.com. Auditions slots are limited, and will likely fill up quickly. Auditioners need only attend one of the scheduled audition dates. Children auditioning should be prepared to sing 16 bars of a song of their choosing, a cappella, and be ready for a possible dance audition.
