Ojai Winter Wine Walk
Ojai’s Winter Wine Walk offers wine lovers a unique tasting experience off the “beaten trail". Ticketholders can sample wines at local Ojai wineries that grow their own grapes, and also at downtown tasting rooms and boutiques.
For ticketholders interested in touring Ojai wineries, the experience starts at 1pm with a Kick-Off Tasting Party hosted at BC West Creek Gallery, 8672 N Ventura Ave, Ventura, featuring tastings by Municipal Wines, live music with Frank Barajas’ Acoustic Trio, complimentary appetizers and their artisan gallery. Next stop on the winery tour is Old Creek Winery, Ojai’s oldest winery with over eight acres planted with Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Viognier and Albariño. Just up the road is the End of the Road Winery, offering tastes of their signature batonnage-enhanced, flavorful wines. After tastings under the majestic oaks at Boccali Vineyards, wine lovers head to downtown Libbey Park to start their downtown experience.
Ticketholders interested in exploring tasting locations in historic downtown will pick up their Tasting Packet in Libbey Park, among local artisan booths offering wine-inspired and hand-crafted arts. They’ll be directed to participating tasting locations, including The Naturalist, Ojai Roots, Sam’s Place, Olive Press Ojai, and Side Street Wines at Ojai Valley Brewery, among others.
At 6pm, Ojai’s Winter Wine Walk concludes with an After Party hosted by Ojai Valley Brewery, home of Side Street Wines. Enjoy live music, fire pits, the Happy Place Eatery food truck, and the sparkling wines crafted by Winemaker Fabien Castel. Entry is included in the ticket price.
