Join us for a night of celebration, a unique and captivating experience featuring the best of Indigenous food, art, discussion, and entertainment.
Chelsea, New York, was originally home to the Lenape people, situated near their homeland of Mannahatta. New York City’s rise as a global destination for trade and culture began with trading posts led by Native artisans exchanging goods with incoming Dutch settlers.
This unforgettable evening offers a fully immersive experience of Indigenous cuisine, art, and performance, bringing together the traditions and diversity of Native culture in celebration of the American Indian College Fund’s mission to support Native scholars.
This night of celebration includes more than food. Native performers will share aspects of their traditions and contemporary experiences through their art. Professional dancer Nakeema King (Upper Skagit Tribe) will uplift Indigenous culture and perspectives in her performance. Mother and daughter duo Twyla Baker and Hobawea Nahish Demaray (Mandan, Hidatsa, & Arikara Nation) will return to share traditional songs and inspire togetherness and connection.
EATSS provides a meaningful opportunity to support the College Fund’s work in transforming the lives of Native students through higher education. Join us to raise awareness, build community, and help foster the next generation of Indigenous leaders.
Proceeds support Native students pursuing higher education, including scholars like Kianna (Navajo Nation) and Christopher (Karuk Tribe), who are advancing Indigenous communities through education, policy, and law.
Immerse yourself in millennia of Native cooking traditions and enjoy a full-course experience from leading Indigenous chefs. Featured chefs include Chef Bradley Dry (Cherokee), Chef Ben Jacobs (Osage Nation), Chef Paul Natrall (Squamish Nation), Chef Anthony Bauer (Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa), and Chef Nathan Davis (Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa).
