ACCESS March For Life In March Pro-Life High School Students Event
Mr. Alex Lorio is this year's special guest speaker at the annual March For Life In March event for high school students from across the Archdiocese of New Orleans. Pro-life students come together for a rockin' fun time with food, fellowship, music, prizes, and of course bowling. Held at the infamous Rock 'N' Bowl, the event is hosted by the volunteer board of Catholic Charities "ACCESS " Pregnancy Services in partnership with the Archdiocese CYO Ministry. For those students who attended the March for Life pilgrimage to Washington DC in January – this event is a chance to reunite with friends made on the trip, reminisce about stories, view photos, visit with seminarian chaperones and renew shared pro-life values.
The event is open to ALL pro-life 8th-12th grade high school students. Members of pro-life clubs, CYOs, Teen CROSS and individual students are all invited to attend. It is not just for those students who joined the DC pilgrimage or for members of pro-life clubs, but is open to all students who are part of the Respect Life community in the archdiocese.
This fun event is a way for ACCESS to show support of pro-life students, empowering them through fellowship. In today's culture it can be very difficult going against peers to champion pro-life causes, so this event brings students together in an entertaining and inspirational way to demonstrate that they are part of and supported by a much larger community.
Tickets are just $15 for students and are sold online before the event at ccano.org/march-for-life. The deadline for online ticket sales is Thursday, March 27 at 11:59pm. All tickets after the deadline must be purchased at the door for $20. Adult tickets are $20 and must be paid at the door.
Students who bring in diapers will receive an extra ticket for the special prize drawings! Baby items such as wipes, shampoo, wash, wraps, towels, wash rags, onesies, blankets, etc. also receive a second chance at winning.
March For Life In March is not a fundraiser so we need sponsors to help defray event costs.. We hope you can help! We are only able to keep the ticket cost inexpensive for students through sponsors and partners in the business community. We will be grateful for any dollar amount you can provide. $25 pays for one student, and our sponsorship levels are Spare $100, Strike $250 and Double XX $500. All partners will gain exposure with this special target audience by receiving name and logo recognition in the video slide presentation of students at the March for Life in Washington DC, in their pro-life club activities, and other attention-getting images shown during the entire event – so it will be well-viewed!
Starting over 50 years ago as the very first crisis pregnancy center in Greater New Orleans, ACCESS continues our legacy of lovingly serving abortion-vulnerable women at no cost to them, - providing truthful information about their options, free pregnancy testing, and ultra-sounds that are so critical for saving lives, Medicaid enrollment, case management and material resources, including one of the largest diaper banks in the southeast region – giving out over 120,000 diapers every year to families in need!!
