Algiers Holiday Bonfire & Concert
Algiers’ biggest holiday celebration and New Orleans’ only official holiday bonfire, the Algiers Bonfire, proudly presented by OnPath Credit Union, is the neighborhood’s largest public event! This FREE community event pays tribute to Louisiana’s river parish bonfire tradition- the night features local music, delicious food, and a holiday art market. The centerpiece is a 30-foot sculptural bonfire by NOLA Burners, set ablaze with the New Orleans skyline as the backdrop. Easily accessible via the Algiers ferry, this festive event attracts visitors to the Westbank, supports local businesses, and provides a family-friendly holiday experience!
