The Great Give Happy Hour at Thimble Island Brewery
The Community Dining Room is proud to participate once again in The Great Give, the Greater New Haven region’s largest online fundraising event. Hosted by The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven, The Great Give brings together nonprofits and donors for 36 hours of giving to strengthen and uplift local communities.
To celebrate this powerful movement of generosity, the Community Dining Room invites supporters to two happy hour gatherings:
Wednesday, May 7 – The Stand, 196 S. Montowese St., Branford
Thursday, May 8 – Thimble Island Brewing Company, 16 Business Park Dr., Branford
Both events run from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
These happy hours are open to the public and offer a chance to enjoy good company, great local fare, and the opportunity to give back in a meaningful way. Guests will learn about the impact of the Community Dining Room’s work and how to support it during The Great Give’s 36-hour window of giving.
Thanks to generous support from Tzedakah House and the Branford Rotary Club, special prizes and surprises will be available during both events.
“We’re excited to come together with our community and raise essential funds during The Great Give,” said Patrick Hackett, Fundraising Coordinator for the Community Dining Room. “Every donation helps us continue to nourish our neighbors and provide more than just a meal.”
