Big Top Brunch
– It’s brunch with a big top twist! On Sunday, June 1, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, The Stand (196 S. Montowese St. Branford) will host Big Top Brunch. This festive, family-friendly event is packed with food, games, and prizes. The event will support two vital local nonprofits: the Community Dining Room and Branford Microfund.
Throughout the day, 15% of all checks will be donated to these organizations, helping fuel their missions to serve and support Shoreline residents in need. Guests can enjoy The Stand’s signature dishes while participating in carnival-inspired activities that promise fun for all ages.
The Stand will craft a signature drink for each non-profit, 50% of those profits will go to the respective agencies.
“This is a perfect example of how good food and good fun can make a real difference,” said Patrick Hackett, Fundraising Coordinator for the Community Dining Room. “We’re thrilled to partner with The Stand and Branford Microfund to bring people together for a great cause.”

The Big Top Brunch is part of the Community Dining Room’s ongoing 40th anniversary celebration and reflects the spirit of unity, community, and connection that continues to define the Branford community. The Branford Microfund is a great partner for the Community Dining Room because their missions are so closely connected. Their mission is to help their neighbors during difficult times. For qualifying residents, the fund can provide interest-free loans up to $3,000 to help with unexpected financial emergencies.
