Trivia Night: Holidays and Connecticut Trivia

Think you know Connecticut history back to the Puritan time? Let's see--what's the animal and breed introduced in Derby, Connecticut from Spain in 1802 that proved to be very financially important to Connecticut and the rest of New England? How about Holiday trivia? What's the name of the Grinch's dog?

Join us at the Seymour Library December 10th at a new time of 6:00 pm for the Holiday and Connecticut themed trivia night with Trivia host David the local founder and creator of Sticker Book Publishing.com. Doors open at 5:45 pm and the fun starts at 6:00 pm. Bring your family, your friends --teams and individuals are welcome. If you are coming as an individual and want to be matched with a team the Library can do that. Participation is required with attendance. Prizes will be awarded to the winning team or person.

This is a free event and registration is highly suggested but walk-ins are welcome. Call the Library at 203-888-3903, or stop at the Library desk or email the director Suzanne Garvey at [email protected] for more information or to register.

And the animal and breed introduced in Derby, Connecticut was the Merino sheep by Colonel David Humphrey. The breed laid the foundation for the woolen industry in the United States. Max is the name of the Grinch's dog--did you get both of them right?
