The Naugatuck Valley Genealogy Club will meet at the Prospect Public Library, 17 Center Street, Prospect, and on Zoom on Saturday, April 12, at 10:30 a.m. Following a brief business meeting, Dick Kreitner will present “Using Artificial Intelligence for Genealogy: The Good and the Bad.” Are you ready to take your genealogy research to the next level? This presentation will show how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the way we discover and research our ancestors.
Dick Kreitner, a seasoned genealogist and AI enthusiast, will share insights on the latest AI tools that can automate tasks and uncover hidden connections. He will describe best practices for using AI effectively in your research, potential pitfalls to avoid, how to ensure accuracy, and cost considerations including free or low-cost alternatives. Whether you are a seasoned genealogist or just starting your family history journey, this presentation will provide valuable information and inspiration.
The public is invited and there is no charge for the meeting. Members and guests may attend in-person at the Prospect Library.
