Earth Day Beach and Park Cleanup, Nature Walk, Crafts
Saturday, April 18
Beach cleanup: 10:00am – noon
Nature walk: 12:30 pm
Meet at the Meigs Point Nature Center, Hammonasset Beach State Park
Celebrate Earth Day by joining in our beach and park cleanup, taking a nature walk with Ranger Russ, and fun crafts in the Nature Center.
Cleanup supplies will be provided, along with individually wrapped snacks. Please bring your own beverages.

Come as an individual or with your family. Also a great club or group activity – school clubs, scout troops, community groups, business volunteer groups, etc. Children under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Keeping the beach clean and free of debris not only improves the appearance for everyone’s enjoyment, but is vitally important for the health of birds and aquatic animals.
