Explore the realm of sound healing through percussion instruments! Perfect for anyone interested in sound healing or adding another layer of texture to their current soundscape through percussive rhythms.
Work with drums, rattles, rain sticks, chimes, bells, and more. Create soundscapes through collaborations with classmates. Several different playing techniques will be practiced, as well as how to build a soundscape for groups. Exercises in basic music theory will help boost your confidence and ability and have you creating rhythms and phrases on the spot.
Explore multiple instruments while experiencing the healing properties of percussive energy. No musical experience or formal music training necessary. All materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own instruments to learn on.
