Join us on May 13, 2026, for Spring Outing, a cherished tradition at Andrew Jackson's Hermitage. This annual luncheon on the lawn supports the ongoing preservation and operation of this historic site.
This year is especially meaningful as we celebrate 125 years of Spring Outing alongside the 250th anniversary of the United States. It's a moment to honor the visionary women who founded the Ladies' Hermitage Association in 1889 and those who have carried its mission forward.
This year’s keynote speakers will be journalists and authors Norah O'Donnell and Kate Andersen Brower, whose recently released book We the Women: The Hidden Heroes Who Built America highlights the unsung women who helped shaped the history of the United States since its conception in 1776.
Looking back to 1776 and 1889, we see courage, conviction, and foresight — People who saw what the future could hold and worked tirelessly to make it happen. Your attendance and support of this event will help ensure that this legacy continues for generations to come. We hope you'll join us for this milestone celebration!
