Roots & Rhythms Americana Concert Series — Country Night
The Andrew Jackson Foundation presents the inaugural Roots & Rhythms Americana Concert Series, a three-night outdoor concert series held in June on the historic grounds of The Hermitage. The series highlights musical traditions shaped by Tennessee through evenings of bluegrass, R&B and gospel, and country.
Curated by Music City Roots and Roots Radio founder John Walker, each evening includes a Legacy Award presentation, live performances, and local food and drink in an open-air setting on the back lawn.

Country Night at The Hermitage celebrates the enduring sound and storytelling tradition of country music as part of the Roots & Rhythms Americana Concert Series. From heartfelt ballads and classic twang to modern country songwriting, the night showcases the genre’s deep Tennessee roots and its continued evolution. Set on the historic grounds of The Hermitage, this open-air evening brings together live music, community, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere under the stars.
