Lass Your Aff Off! Stand-up Comedy
On Saturday, October 5th we will officially welcome in Fall but things will still be heating up at The Z in Mission Viejo with one of the hottest shows in town! Making his first Lass Your Aff Off! appearance will be the hilarious Claude Stuart!
From packing comedy venues across the globe to regular television appearances on shows like “The Tonight Show” and “Last Comic Standing”, veteran comedian Claude Stuart has come a long way from his down-home southern roots. By his own admission, he was “paddled on more than one occasion for being the class clown.” Claude’s explosive, in-your-face, rapid-fire, madman stage style is truly an exhilarating assault on the senses and has evoked comparisons to golden era physical comedians such as Steve Martin, Robin Williams and Jim Carrey. Claude’s unique brand of Don Rickles-esque crowd interaction, coupled with clever and well-written jokes, makes him not only the world’s first physical insult comedian…but a “comedy triple threat”!
Joining Claude at The Z is the very funny Amanda Cohen. Amanda is a middle-age single woman who is definitely nobody’s mom. She’s your best nightmare: a fearless feminist with a sharp sense of irony who will challenge your assumptions about women of a certain age, while still relating to all ages. She’s hosted, showcased, featured, and headlined all over the U.S. She was a finalist in the U.S. Comedy Competition and also a finalist in the Clean Comedy Challenge in Carson City, NV.
Joining Amanda and Claude is the wonderfully funny Freddy Kuhn. Freddy can be seen performing regularly throughout a variety of OC & LA clubs. His low-key delivery, instant likability, and comedic observations, has made him an audience favorite wherever he performs.
Our big show on October 5th will be hosted by the man with just one name, the very funny Yamo. Yamo was one of the true pioneers of Orange County comedy back in the early nineties, establishing himself as a “must have” on any comedy show. Over the years he has performed throughout the U.S. at clubs, churches, and private events. In addition to stand-up comedy, he also pursues a very successful acting career.
