Vista Fiber Arts Fiesta

Join fellow fiber enthusiasts for a day of shopping, learning, seeing, food, music and fun! Weavers, spinners, basket makers, felters, and other fiber artists will be present for the Vista Fiber Arts Fiesta May 3-4, 2025 at the Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum in Vista . An opportunity for all ages to learn about the fiber arts and even be inspired to take up a new craft, the Fiesta will feature classes on dyeing, spinning, and felting. Walk the grounds and enjoy make and take opportunities in weaving, bobbin lace, and basketry, see Alpaca and sheep, and visit vendor booths with finished products and fiber arts supplies. We will have live sheep shearing and wool processing displays. The Bill Rafnel Weavers Barn will be open with over 50 floor looms and demonstrations of how to weave rugs, table covers, towels, and wearable art. The Zuest Family Spinners Cottage will be open to one of the largest collections of spinning wheels and fiber tools. The Fiesta will be held from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Saturday and Sunday, May 3-4, 2025 at the Museum - 2040 N Santa Fe Avenue in Vista CA. Admission is $10/day and children under 14 yo are free. Parking is free. Food and drink will be available for purchase with live music in the afternoon.
