Lass Your Aff Off! Stand-up Comedy
As we approach the end of 2024 and get ready for the new year, we thought we’d make this show extra special with the return of funny man Brandon Vestal.
Brandon has appeared on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, Man Up Stand Up, Comedy Time TV, and FOX’s Laughs. He can also be heard on XM/ Sirius’s “Blue Collar” and “Raw Dog” channels as well as The Bob & Tom Show and his Dry Bar Comedy Special “Brandon Vestal: Who?” has made the world a much better place as long as you don’t pay too close attention to said world. Clips from his special have garnered over 12 million views online. His new album, POSITIVELY PESSIMISTIC, premiered in July 2023 and instantly went viral. Brandon’s low key, observational style has made him a favorite in the comedy world, and his mom will vouch for all of this.
We are also excited to welcome back Keith Michael Ashton to The Z! Keith’s mesmerizing stage presence and honest, razor-sharp humor has made him a favorite at comedy clubs across the U.S. Keith performs regularly at Los Angeles clubs such as the Improv and Ice House and has made television appearances on shows on CBS, BET, and Comedy Central.
Rounding out this cavalcade of comedy is an OC favorite and the “King of One-Liners”, Barry Weisenberg. Barry is a past winner of the Las Vegas Comedy Festival and he has appeared at the Irvine Improv, the Brea Improv, the Hollywood Improv, the Comedy Store, the Laugh Factory, the Ice House, and tons of other comedy rooms and venues.
Our big show on December 7th will be hosted by OC comedian Marianne Connors. While relatively “new” to the world of stand-up, Marianne’s clean and honest look at everyday life makes her a must see at comedy clubs and events. As a retired school teacher, her quick sense of humor kept her alive and sane for the many years she “performed” in front of a classroom filled with unruly students. Now doing comedy full time, Marianne talks about a wide range of topics audiences of all ages can relate to.
