A grand choral Finale celebrating music itself—the power of harmony and more. With international in-demand tenor Nicholas Phan and “luminous” soprano soloist Hannah De Priest, this year’s Festival closer is not to be missed. Handel’s grand setting of John Dryden’s poem celebrating music itself, Ode for St. Cecilia’s Day; his Chandos Anthem No. 4, Sing unto the Lord a New Song; and Concerto Grosso Op. 3, No. 5.
