MAINPLACE TO WELCOME THE YEAR OF THE SNAKE WITH A FESTIVE LUNAR NEW YEAR CELEBRATION
MainPlace, a three-story super-regional shopping center in Santa Ana, California (www.shopmainplacemall.com), invites the community to welcome the Year of the Snake with an unforgettable Lunar New Year celebration on Saturday, February 15th, from noon to 3 p.m. The event will feature an array of cultural activities and performances that will educate and entertain guests. Traditional lion and dragon dances will take place throughout the lower level of the center. In Macy’s Court, attendees will enjoy additional entertainment, including an orchestra, a zither player and more dance performances. For those who drop by the welcome table in Center Court, there will be lucky red envelopes with $2 bills, fortune cookies, themed “Year of the Snake” plush giveaways, and a Lunar New Year kids craft (each while supplies last). An entertaining and educational Lunar New Year display will also be located in Center Court. This event is free and open to the public; no pre-registration is required.
