MAINPLACE TO HOST ART WALK EVENT
MainPlace, a three-story super-regional shopping center in Santa Ana, California (www.shopmainplacemall.com), invites the community to enjoy its fun and interactive monthly Art Walk event on Saturday, July 12th, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The event will feature a Wooden Birdhouse Workshop (near Center Court), a Paper Fan Workshop (near JCPenney), and a Can Koozies Workshop (in the Food Court on Level 1); all workshops are first-come, first-served while supplies last. Local artists Peggy Iriarte and Luis Fierro will create live paintings in front of the Food Court escalator (near the main entrance) and in front of the Galería of Imagination. There will also be face painting near FYE and live entertainment on the stage in Macy’s Court; entertainment for the center’s July Art Walk includes upbeat tunes spun by the popular DJ Richie & Team (2 p.m. – 5 p.m.), a Danza Artes de Mexico performance (3 p.m. – 4 p.m.), and a performance by the Adrian Watkins Americana/R&B Band (4:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.). This event is free and open to the public; no pre-registration is required.
