MAINPLACE TO HOST ART WALK EVENT
MainPlace, a three-story super-regional shopping center in Santa Ana, California (www.shopmainplacemall.com), invites the community to enjoy its fun and interactive monthly Art Walk event on Saturday, May 10th, from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The event will feature a Ceramic Flower Bowl Workshop (near Center Court), a Wind Chime with Flowers and Butterflies Workshop (near JCPenney), and a Cosmetic Bag Workshop (in the Food Court on Level 1); all workshops are first-come, first-served while supplies last. Local artists Conny Munoz and Jasmine Solei will create live paintings in front of the Food Court escalator (near the main entrance) and in front of the Galería of Imagination. There will also be face painting near FYE and live entertainment on the stage in Macy’s Court; entertainment for the center’s May Art Walk includes upbeat tunes spun by the popular DJ Richie & Team (2 p.m. – 5 p.m.), a Tribal Love & Caribbean Flow performance by Claudia de la Cruz (3 p.m. – 4 p.m.), and a performance by Mariachi Folklore director Oscar Garibay (4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.). This event is free and open to the public; no pre-registration is required.
