MainPlace, a three-story super-regional shopping center in Santa Ana, California (www.shopmainplacemall.com), will once again entertain holiday shoppers with its beloved “The Elf on the Shelf: Santa’s Magical Photo Adventure” Santa set, which transforms the traditional Santa visit into an interactive, branded family entertainment experience for visitors of all ages. The set’s creative design was inspired by the popular children’s book The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition, a cherished holiday children’s book co-written by Carol Aebersold and her daughter Chanda Bell and illustrated by Coë Steinwart. Each Santa encounter begins with a walk through this imaginative set, which combines elements of today’s popular “selfie museums” with the grandeur of a theme park attraction. After working their way through the captivating and entertaining set, children can talk with Santa to share their holiday wish lists. Santa will be available for visits and professional photos daily at his holiday home located in Macy’s Court from Friday, November 14th, through Christmas Eve, December 24th.
