MAINPLACE INVITES THE COMMUNITY TO A FUN-FILLED EDUCATIONAL EARTH DAY EVENT
To help families learn more about the importance of Earth Day, MainPlace, a three-story super-regional shopping center in Santa Ana, California (www.shopmainplacemall.com), will host an educational Earth Day-themed event on Saturday, April 19th, from noon to 3 p.m. in Center Court. Families can explore five sources of renewable energy through an “Our Power, Our Planet” interactive exhibit offering an opportunity to learn about the many kinds of alternative energy sources available. Guests can also build their own solar powered toy cars and enjoy sweet Earth Day-themed treats while listening to live acoustic music. OC Waste & Recycling will provide giveaways and informational materials to educate attendees on proper waste disposal and recycling.
