Rosemount Community Band Free Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at The Well
Listen to the music of the holiday season at the Rosemount Community Band’s (RCB) free concert on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at The Well, located at 14770 Canada Avenue West in Rosemount. The concert, which is free and open to the public, will feature medleys of carols and fun seasonal songs as well as highlights from the “Polar Express”. Attendees are invited to bring donations of the following urgently needed items for the Rosemount Food Shelf: diapers, wipes, baby formula and winter jackets for teenagers (new or gently used), as well as non-perishable food.
The all-volunteer RCB, which started in September 2011, is composed of adult musicians from Rosemount, Apple Valley, Eagan and other areas of the south metro. Members range in age from the 20s through the 80s, have various skill levels and all share a love of music and performing for the community. The band's director, Tom Maeck, has over 40 years of experience in directing both community and high school bands.
