Anna Magdalena Bach and Her Notebooks: A Lecture and Demonstration Recital
Bach's birthday celebration continues with a presentation about the Anna Magdalena Notebooks, given to her 300 years ago by her husband, J.S. Bach. These books continue to inspire children today. The lecture includes the story behind the books and the musical Bach family. Bach had 20 children, many of whom were musicians! The recital will feature excerpts from the books and musical pieces. The lecture will be led by Dr. Martin Dicke.
