Feed My Starving Children South Metro MobilePack

After more than a decade of impact, the South Metro MobilePackTM is coming to a close. From February 9–14, Prince of Peace Lutheran Church will host the final MobilePack event, inviting the community to pack meals and make a lasting difference together. Since 2014, the South Metro MobilePackTM has united church partners and thousands of volunteers from across the south metro area to fight global hunger. In its final year, volunteers will pack over 800,000 meals, providing life-saving nutrition for children around the world. According to Feed My Starving Children (FMSC), each day, an estimated 6,200 children die from causes related to undernutrition. FMSC a Christian nonprofit organization, believes hope starts with food and works with long-term partners to help communities move from relief to sustainable development. FMSC meals are designed by nutrition professionals to help reverse and prevent undernutrition. Donations fund the ingredients, volunteers hand-pack the meals, and trusted partners distribute them globally—feeding children and saving lives. As we close this chapter, we invite individuals, families, and groups to join us for one last pack and be part of a legacy of hope.
