In a cultural moment marked by division and disconnection, churches across Minnesota are coming together to host the Better Together Film Festival, coinciding with the National Week of Conversation from April 21β27. Hosted by the Minnesota Council of Churches, this week-long celebration of true stories aims to inspire curiosity, dialogue, and hope. Five powerful documentaries will be screened at local faith communities, each exploring how everyday people are reaching across lines of difference to strengthen their neighborhoods and our nation. The overlap with the National Week of Conversation underscores the importance of fostering meaningful dialogue and building connections that bridge divides.
As part of the series, Oak Grove Presbyterian Church will be hosting the screening of The Tennessee 11 on Saturday, April 26 at 6:30pm.
