MN Pocket Pet Rescue’s 12th Birthday Bash

MN Pocket Pet Rescue is turning 12 years old this year, so we're throwing a birthday party to celebrate, and you're all invited! . This FREE family-friendly event will include a guinea pig 'pignic', a Pet A Hedgehog animal encounter, Animal Ambassadors of multiple pocket pet species you can meet, face painting, free crafts, games, merch, music, food, and more! . WHERE IS IT? Our friends at the North Minneapolis Pet Resource Center in Minneapolis will be hosting us for this event. Look for balloons that day to direct you to the entrance. . SPECIAL ACTIVITIES! All Day: Collection for Critters supply drive 11am-Noon: Pet A Hedgehog - meet our ambassador hedgehogs! Noon - 1pm: Guinea Pig "Pignic" - feed our ambassador guinea pigs their lunch 1pm - 2pm: "Pocket Pet Garden Party" - pre-paid activity (more info below!) 1pm - 2pm: Pet A Hedgehog - meet our ambassador hedgehogs! 2pm - 3pm: Every Bunny is an Artist - have a small painting created by one of our Rabbit Ambassadors while you watch! . POCKET PET GARDEN PARTY During our celebration, we'll be offering a Pocket Pet Garden Party where you can learn about the various greens and veggies that pocket pets eat, and plant some seeds/seedlings to bring home, grow, and feed your own pocket pets. There will be plant sticks to decorate, and you'll be sent home with info and care instructions for your plants. You must register and pay to attend.
