Our bake sale will be full: many types of bread are available, along with pulla, cookie, pies, prune tarts, and cupcakes. Canned goods will include jams, applesauce, salsa, tomato soup, and so much more.
Take & bake section: prune tarts, pulla, Karelian piirrakkas, and pasties are classic Scandinavian items that will be frozen and ready to take home for our visitors. Along with baked goods, soups are ready and waiting in the refrigerator, including our famous creamy salmon soup.
As per tradition, our crafters have worked hard this year to create many Scandinavian inspired crafts that you can display in your home for the Christmas season or all year round. Ornaments, garlands, hand towels, and advent calendars are a few of the many crafts that will be for sale at this year's celebration.
We will have our largest ever selection of imported candies, chocolates, mints, gummy candies, Turkish peppers, black licorice and much much more!
Along with imported candies, we will have our usual import section of Finnish goods which has greatly expanded this year. Moomin mugs, ornaments, and hand towels are quite popular, along with Marimekko kitchen items that will bring a pop of color and a touch of Finland to your home. New this year are soaps, shampoos, and sauna oils: perfect for gifting or using at home.
Our on-site, fresh made lefse is a staple to the Scandinavian Celebration charm. Busy elves cook up lefse for our visitors to enjoy with cinnamon and sugar.
The coffee shop will be serving up specialty holiday drinks for visitors to enjoy while perusing the sale.
Tickets will be available during the sale to enter our annual raffle. Prizes this year will be a Breville espresso machine, an ice maker, and electric scooter.
The Christmas choir will be singing at three times throughout the night: 3PM, 5PM, and 7PM. Singers of all ages will sing from a list of festive Christmas songs from Scandinavian countries. Make sure to stop in and enjoy the program during your visit!
