This unforgettable evening offers a fully immersive experience of Indigenous cuisine, art, and performance, bringing together the traditions and diversity of Native culture in celebration of the American Indian College Fund's mission to support Native scholars.
Immerse yourself in millennia of Native cooking traditions with a multi-course dinner from leading Indigenous chefs, served at Indígena by Owamni, the restaurant inside the Guthrie. We are proud to partner with Indígena by Owamni, the acclaimed Minneapolis restaurant founded by Chef Sean Sherman, whose work centers on Indigenous foods, ingredients, and foodways. Featured chefs include Chef Andrea Condes (Andean, Venezuela), Chef Crystal Wahpepah (Kickapoo Nation of Oklahoma), Chef Nathan Davis (Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa), and Chef Anthony Bauer (Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa).
The night closes on the Guthrie's Wurtele Thrust Stage with a concert by Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Raye Zaragoza, whose music is shaped by identity, justice, community, and connection. Raye first gained widespread recognition with "In the River," her response to the Dakota Access Pipeline protests, and has since performed on NPR's Tiny Desk and written songs for Netflix's Spirit Rangers.
