The Great Burger Battle for the Band
The grills are heating up, and the competition is on! The Great Burger Battle for the Band kicks off April 1, 2025, inviting Farmington area’s top restaurants to compete for the title of Best Burger.
Hosted by the Farmington Tiger Band Boosters, this month-long showdown will not only showcase the best burgers in the area but also raise funds to support music education in Farmington schools. Local restaurants will enter a signature burger into the competition, and the community will decide the winner by visiting participating locations and rating their favorites through QR code to a voting site.
At the end of April, votes will be tallied, and the winning burger will be crowned on May 5, 2025. To celebrate, a Farmington High School Band Ensemble will perform live at the winning restaurant on May 9, 2025.
“We’re excited to launch this friendly competition that brings the community together while supporting all Farmington High School Bands,” said Janna Caven, Fundraising Director for Band Boosters “This is a great way for local restaurants to gain exposure, bring in new customers, and battle it out for the ultimate bragging rights.”
Local businesses are also encouraged to participate by sponsoring the event. Sponsorships help fund Farmington Band programs while providing valuable marketing exposure for businesses.
Key Dates:
April 1-30, 2025 – The Burger Battle takes place at participating restaurants
May 5, 2025 – Winner announced
May 9, 2025 – FHS Rock Band performs at the winning restaurant
