GSTA Rod & Custom Spectacular

The 2026 Minnesota car show season kicks off with the 68th annual GSTA Rod & Custom Spectacular Car Show presented by Brainerd International Raceway, April 11 & 12, 2026 at the Canterbury Park Expo Center. See the area’s finest array of invite-only Hot Rods, Customs, Street Machines, and Motorcycles on display at Minnesota’s oldest indoor motorized event. Bring the whole family, kids can take part in a scavenger hunt, sit in a real race car, and pick up a FREE Hot Wheels car from Sgt. Hot Wheels (while supplies last). Kids and adults can also take part in the Model Car Spectacular, featuring homebuilt miniature rods, customs, street machines, and drag cars. Car owners compete in a number of judged categories, including: Best in Class, Best of Show, and more, with more than $7,500 in prize money and awards up for grabs. A portion of the show proceeds will benefit charitable organizations including the Newgate School “Wheels for Women” program, and the Minnesota Street Rod Association Scholarship Fund.
