StoryFest 2025
Story Arts of Minnesota is bringing StoryFest 2025 to the Bloomington Center for the Arts, our partner of the last three years, on Saturday, April 5, from 10am-9pm. StoryFest is a choose your own adventure event, with something for every age and every level of interest. During this free event, the public is invited to immerse themselves in storytelling of all kinds. Programming spotlights the exciting breadth of contemporary oral storytelling, which encompasses true life stories and original creations, as well as traditional folktales, fairy tales, and myths.
Want to enjoy the fun of telling stories with your kids? The doors open at 10 am with a Youth and Family storytelling concert. A youth and family track will allow you to explore and listen as a family.
Do you want to sharpen your storytelling skills? Take a short workshop on the purposes and techniques of the art.
Want to sit back and listen to stories? There are story performances for adults and famiies throughout the day.
Food trucks will be available over the lunch hour. ASL interpreters available during parts of the day. The day concludes with an evening story concert for adults. Come experience the wonder of story!
