Disney's High School Musical

Burnsville High School Theatre Guild will bring Disney’s smash hit movie musical, High School Musical, to life May 6-16 at BHS’s Mraz Center. Come watch as Troy, Gabriella and the students of East High learn about first love and dealing with friends and family while balancing their classes and extracurriculars. “High School Musical has been an absolute blast from the past! I grew up with this movie, so directing it now is a dream come true, and I feel so incredibly grateful to be able to share it with these students,” said Director Kate Herrera. “It is a great musical for high schoolers as it promotes students to break the ‘status quo’ and follow their hearts; a great message for anyone to hear,” she added. “With lively, comedic, fun and heartfelt performances, High School Musical is a production that all ages will enjoy!” Free Senior Citizen preview: Wednesday, May 6, at 4 p.m. (No advance tickets necessary) Opening Night: Thursday, May 7, at 7 p.m. Additional shows, all at 7 p.m.: Friday, May 8; Saturday, May 9; Friday, May 15; Saturday, May 16, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. All performances are at the Mraz Center for the Performing Arts, 600 State Highway 13, in Burnsville (located at Burnsville High School).
