Everyone's favorite first grader returns to the Racine Children's Theatre in "Junie B.’s Essential Survival Guide to School" Friday, January 31 - Sunday, February 2, 2025.
The spunky heroine returns in this joyful show filled with new songs and new essential lessons. Based on the bestselling books, the saga of the wisecracking first-grader continues in Junie B.’s Essential Survival Guide to School, a goofy and heartwarming follow-up to "Junie B. Jones, The Musical." A self-appointed expert on all things first grade, Junie B. is determined to write the ultimate guide – Junie B.’s Essential Survival Guide to School. As she deals with writer’s block and constantly getting into trouble, Junie B. quickly realizes that she still has a lot to learn. Featuring new, upbeat songs, it is a hilarious, whole-hearted show about owning up to your mistakes and how nobody is ever done learning.

Book and lyrics by Marcy Heisler, music by Zina Goldrich, adapted from the "Junie B. Jones" series of books by Barbara Parkwill, the show will be be performed by Horlick Fine Arts students and sponsored by SC Johnson.
Packy, the RCT friendly elephant mascot, will greet the audience at the performance. Shows are just over an hour in length and are great ways to introduce children to theatre and the arts, while creating new memories.
Tickets are just $7 each for children and adults. Seating is general admission and shows are recommended for ages 4 and above.
