Broadway at the Movies
Strike up the overture and roll out the red carpet for the next Signature Spotlight concert, "Broadway at the Movies," Thursday, February 6 at 7 p.m. at the Racine Theatre Guild.
Movie turned musical turned musical movie? When Broadway collides with Tinseltown, anything is possible! When the bright lights of stage explode onto the silver screen, movie magic takes hold and introduces stories and songs to theatre and film lovers alike. With new adaptations, different characters, and extra showstopping numbers, the transformation can breathe new life into these unforgettable shows. Musical favorites include “I Could Have Danced All Night,” “Friend Like Me,” “The Negative,” “Learn to Do It,” and “Popular.”
The Signature Spotlight Concert Series are musical revue concerts featuring musicians and singers from throughout the Racine area. With varying themes and song styles, each performance has something for everyone.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $18 for seniors (62+), and $15 students (21 & under) can be purchased from RTG.
