Husband-and-Wife Founders Invite Milwaukee Camping Fans to Visit Their Shop, Which is Typically Closed to the Public, for a Special Happy Hour to See the Orion 365 Camper Van & Dream of Brighter Summer Days (on the Shortest Day of the Year)
The dark is the perfect time to dream. To help, Husband-and-Wife Entrepreneurs Brian and Heidi Dondlinger are hosting an After Dark Happy Hour on Sunday, Dec. 21, 2024, from 3-6 p.m. in their Orion Motors shop, 6047 N. Flint Rd. on Milwaukee’s Northwest side.
“The winter solstice is the perfect time to dream of summer adventures and warmer, longer days,” said Brian Dondlinger. “We look forward to showing off our shop, which is normally closed to the public, to all who can make it out on Dec. 21.”
At the happy hour, the husband-and-wife founders will serve beer brewed by fellow Milwaukee small business owners. There will also be shop tours, camper van walkthroughs, giveaways, and (weather permitting) campfires, S’mores and stargazing.
“We like to call our shop a ‘dream factory,’” said Heidi Dondlinger. “So, on the 21st we want to inspire folks to dream about their next big adventure. We also want to show them how the Orion 365 can take the stress out of travel prep and hitting the road.
The stars of the Orion 365 are two lift-away double beds, one fitted at the rear of the van and the second in the front, above the cockpit. This design allows the beds to retract during travel and drop down (with the push of a button) from the ceiling at night. Thanks to this innovative, patent-pending design, the Orion 365 comfortably sleeps five but also provides enough space to haul adventure gear from kayaks and mountain bikes to motorcycles and snowmobiles.
“The Orion 365 also makes a great last-minute holiday gift if folks are still struggling to find that perfect gift for the camping enthusiast on their list,” Heidi added with a smile.
