North Beach 5K Run/Walk
Date: Saturday, July 12, 2025
Time: Location: North Beach Oasis, 100 Kewaunee Street, Racine, WI 53402
Packet pickup: 8:00 am - 8:45 am
Race start: 9:00 am
Course: Out and back course starting at the North Beach Oasis. Runners will head north on the paved bike trail, with beautiful views of Lake Michigan on their right. The course continues onto Michigan Blvd, where runners will turn around and head back to the finish.
Awards:.
Top three male and female finishers in each age group (5-year increments) will receive recognition pins.
All finishers will receive a custom finisher's medal, commemorative towel (while supplies last), complimentary beer (for those over 21), goodie bag, and entry into a post-race raffle.
Cost (General):
Adults: $30
Youth (17 and under): $15
Remote Runners: $35

Parking is available at the North Beach Oasis as well as in the surrounding area.
Water Safety -
After the race, enjoy a beautiful day at the beach! But before you go, please learn more about Lake Michigan rip tides. These powerful currents can quickly pull swimmers away from shore, and they can be deadly.
Here are some tips for staying safe in Lake Michigan:
Always swim in a designated swimming area with lifeguards on duty.
Never swim alone.
Be aware of the water conditions and pay attention to any warning flags.
If you get caught in a rip current, don't panic. Swim parallel to the shore until you are out of the current, then swim back to shore.
