Choral Arts Society's Spring 2026 Auditions

The Choral Arts Society of Southeastern Wisconsin (CAS) invites adult singers to audition for Spring 2026 by appointment on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 6:30PM to 9:30PM at First Presbyterian Church, 716 College Avenue, Racine. If you would like to sing great music with friendly people, please contact David Eaton, CAS Audition Coordinator Team, at (262) 939-6930 to schedule an appointment. Rehearsals are held at First Presbyterian Church on Tuesday evenings from 7:00PM to 9:30PM from late August until May. Auditions include warm-ups and vocalizing to determine voice range and timbre, a sight-reading exercise and/or literature reading, and one brief solo to be prepared in advance. Please provide a copy of your solo for the accompanist. Visit www.choralartsonline.org or contact the CAS at [email protected] or (262) 634-3250 for more information on the Choral Arts Society. The Choral Arts Society is a volunteer community chorus of 60 singers. This season’s Spring concert is Fantasia! on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 7PM. The Choral Arts Society unleashes flights of fancy in the works of Faure, Bach, and Vaughan Williams. With its crashingly rebellious solo piano part, Fantasia on the Old 104th echoes the grandeur of Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy. Pianist Randy Bush and Organist Nick Renkosik join the chorus for a resounding Fantasia, which will feature the newly renovated First Presbyterian Church organ and their wonderful Steinway grand piano, adding to the lyric beauty and vocal power of Racine’s finest chorus. The Choral Arts Society celebrates the human spirit through choral music. In an atmosphere of fellowship and collaboration, the CAS fosters creative talents of musicians and composers. The CAS partners with others who share our passion for artistic excellence. This season is supported in part by a grant from the Racine Community Foundation, a grant from the Racine Arts Council’s ArtSeed Grant Program funded by the Racine Arts Council and the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin, and a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts.
